Associate Professor
Research Interest:
- Emission characterisation from major sources such as road traffic, biomass cooking and heating, open-field stubble burning, brick kilns
- Environmental health and risk assessment
- Development of source emissions factors
- Assessing chemical and optical properties of atmospheric aerosols
- Measuring and modeling long-term exposures to outdoor air pollution in communities
- Modeling effect of air pollution on respiratory health
- Occupational exposure and health assessment, e.g. in coal mines, quarries and taxi drivers
- Measuring toxicity of atmospheric and sources aerosols
- Measuring and modeling personal and indoor air pollution exposures
- Quantifying toxic chemical doses in human tissues
- Understanding the emissions from vehicular/ biomass emissions sources, monitoring and modelling the long-term air pollution exposures in various urban/ rural microenvironments
- Quantifying toxic air pollution chemicals in human tissues and examining the association of air pollution exposures with health effects in children and adults.
- Environmental noise exposure and annoyance assessment
