Specific tasks to be undertaken as a part of my research include development of gridded inventory for India comprising emissions of long-live GHGs, aerosols and precursor gases. It will involve analysis of activity data collected through mobile application-based field surveys and measured emission factors along with data from various govt. reports. It will be developed on a Geographic Information System (GIS) platform enabled with query-based decision making and supported by a database management platform for future updation of the inventory.Second, development of future emission pathways for 2030 and 2050 under different mitigation scenarios governed by projected growth in activity and technology shifts based on emission regulations, national missions and developmental schemes. Third, the emissions scenarios will be input to an impact assessment framework00 based on emission reduction potentials and multi- criteria analysis to quantify multiple impacts and assess co-benefits of different sets of interventions.
