My research focusses on estimation of economic values provided by mangroves in diverse socio-economic regions of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region considering the climate change context of the study area. It provides a methodological framework for integrating the outcomes of the MES valuation studies in decision making and policy adoption for improved management of mangrove ecosystems in a coastal region.
