I am focusing on development of Extreme Rainfall driven Pluvial Flood Risk map for entire India. I have considered extreme rainfall as the primary flood driver in my study. Relevant demographic information from CoI (2011) are utilized to develop nationwide SEV map. Finally, I am using MIKE 21 flood model to develop response priority based flood forecasting framework for KRB catchment.

Our research group works on advancing the understanding and modeling of hydro-climatic processes, with a focus on the Indian monsoon. We explore the interactions between the atmosphere and land surface, develop regional and statistical modeling techniques, and assess the impacts of climate change on water resources.
